72 cheyenne lwb BB truck
OK.... I never thought I might consider this but my thoughts change ever day. I am considering selling my daily driver described below. I can get pics tonight if I have any on home computer and there is some genuie interest. This post is searching for possible interest and "What is worth". I am uncomfortable pricing it yet.
I've got a 72 1/2 ton cheyenne I bought from original owner 7 years ago. Truck has 402 BB with rebuild heads, new HEI and new quadrajet, AC, Tilt, Tach. Color is tangerine Orange and white. Wheels are ralleys with Michelin tires. It has small amounts of rust in rockers and 1 cab corner and a little above the right side of windshield under rubber. Has a few dings, dents, etc. If I sell it what should I ask for it? (truck is on west coast) I can sell with new carpet kit and all goodies or I can replace tilt and tach, etc with basic units.

Post pics, and the opinions will follow.
I think most board members will have a difficult time offering an opinion with pricing without seeing pics first. |

Remember Bob.
Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it! I know that for myself, AC adds $500 value to a $3000 truck. IMO a factory BB/ loaded truck also adds 20%. |

Ok, how does $5100 sound. I know I will regret it but too much on my plate still.

How about $4800 and I provide new carpet kit?
I keep looking at another project or buying completed truck. Maybe time to move on. This truck deserves someone doing at least a frame-on restoration.

trying to thin herd
DINNUT;
I know I mentioned shifting gears and finding another project but I really don't need more of the same. I am toying with finding a blazer or putting time and $$ into other trucks I have. I also want to buy or restore a short fleetside. A couple have passed through board in recent past I should have jumped on. Also distance sales and trades really add up on shipping costs. This might be good sale for long distnace buyer who would do restoration of truck. This truck is stock except for ralleys. The tangerine and white combo really grows on you. I few months ago a board member sold a real nice truck restored truck almost identical to this, it was one of my all time favorites on board, but I'm partial right now!!

new price
How about $4800 and I include new ACC carpet kit?
Also may be interested in part or all trade for on 69-72 blazer. Can pull options and replace with standard pieces (tach, tilt, ralleys/michelins) to reduce price.

Need to sell
Would sell this weekend for $4200/obo complete like it is. This is great candidate to restore just don't have time to do it myself. I would also package it with 72/70 short fleetside project I will post seperate.
email me with inquiries at home cheyennek20@comcast.net
