1985-1987 Chevy Grille

Rebuilt 85-87 Grille $450 plus shipping

Brand New grille. This is the best grille I have found. Made from new tooling to be an exact match to the OEM grille. GM Restoration Part. Very sturdy. Accepts all OEM parts with ease.

Bowtie is a Brand New GM Authorized Restoration Part. This is an exact replica of the OEM emblem. I will be just like getting a NOS part, right down to the same part # stamped on the back.

Center grille trim are OEM. They do have some surface scratches and very minor dings. I try to use only the best trims I can find, which is rare.

4 vertical trims are NEW OEM.

Parking lamps are new. And all the hardware to mount the trim pieces are new.

This grille has increased in price due to using the New Bowtie Emblem that I just received.

These are being listed on Ebay also.

Sounds good let me know. Can I change the color of the bow tie without allot of difficulty?

New ones come gold. I have only done one, and it was Red. I'm just not sure how the paint holds up over time.

What color are you wanting?

I'm going to have it done like the truck, The Blackest Red I can get my truck painted. I'm still working on that. It's very hard to see paint color before it's laid on.

Re: 1985-1987 Chevy Grille

I wish I cold afford to get a grille from you at this time, but I have so much to do on the truck now. I can't even find anyone to install the new vent windows I got. I also have a new thans. pan to install since the cheap chrome ones (that came on the new transmission)leak like a sieve.
I have to find a used rear tailgate that isn't rusted out of banged up. There's one on Ebay that's $450 used .
Where I live no one wants to work or If they do they don't do good work.
I'm going to install the $25 grille to see how it looks over the one that's on it how.
Thanks

That’s fine, I understand completely. You should be able to install your vent windows. I did my own. Whenever you need to try and do something on your truck, look on YouTube for how to videos. These have helped me immensely.
And then check car-part.com, you might be able to find a local salvage yard that has tailgate or other parts.

Re: 1985-1987 Chevy Grille

I tried again today to remove my crappy grille and It seams caught behind the top metal behind the trim. See the 3 upright supports on the grille. Close-up of the center one.

Re: 1985-1987 Chevy Grille

Look back at post #9, at the first pic. See how the grill along the top has raised tabs, where the screw grommets go. I'm going to assume the Billet grille has those same raised tabs. So the grille will have to be tilted somewhat, for those tabs to clear the top portion of the radiator support. The grille won't just pull straight out. It may make it easier too, if the headlight buckets were removed.

The parking lamps, you can get almost anywhere. eBay, Amazon, all the truck places have them.
