here is a tip on the rear chrome for the back of the hood . I been seeing these factory chrome pieces on ebay nos for $700 plus . crazy .I just bought some 1/2 inch chrome 3m tape on trim $17 bucs for 15feet .. I already had the rear chrome piece on my Silverado you can just take it off and run the chrome trim on to it or if you don't have just tape it to you hood .

Nice! Looks good. Did you do anything to the end where you had to cut it?

I used the originail plastic piece and just put the chrome trim on it and I cut in at each end at a angle its a little short on each end I think thats from the plastic hood piece has just been shrinking up over the last 37 years
