Your opinions
I have an 82 blazer with the ESC crap. I need a new knock sensor but it is 80 something bucks. I have a regular HEI but I'm not sure how good it is. I can get a new summit or proform dist. for about 130 or I can get a new performance module for my regular HEI for less than that. OR i can do the wire trick on Mike's page. What do you guys think.
Oh by the way, I replaced the worn 305 with a gm goodwrench and have about 60 miles on it. I'm about to go through emissions so I want to get this done first. Thanks, sal (mesa, az) |

I was having lots of problems with the stock HEI on my Blazer. I installed this, and did away with the ESC. Haven't had a problem since.
