'72 Blazer CST 2wd
'72 Blazer CST 2wd - I am out of the loop so I'm not sure where to start on price.
I have owned this Blazer for 5 years and over the years I have collected a large collection of parts to begin restoration. The Blazer is a very solid but unrestored factory 2wd. It is running and driving and could currently be used as a daily driver upon inspection. Here is my build thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=522548 It tells where it came from, the inspiration for the build, and the parts I've acquired along the way. It is seven pages long and has a little over 150 posts. -as you will see it's died out a bit over the past couple years. This one is a factory air truck (although the components were removed prior to my purchase (easy fix though) AND it came with the factory tach dash -extremely rare. The tach dash was also removed at one point but I have a new one to replace it that has never even been hooked up. The dash is very nice so I will be including it if the offer is good. When I purchased it, it was in primer, but I laid down a base coat a few years ago so I could drive it. It is orange with a fauxtina look. I have three hardtops. One single wall and two double walls. I was planning on using the single wall for the final project. It needs window gaskets which I may provide in order to make it easier to transport. The rear hatch for the hardtop is immaculate. I replaced the '72 front clip with a '68 clip and a Goodmark steel cowl induction hood. These clips are very popular on the 2wd models. The steering wheel was also replaced with a '68 steering wheel, because it is a LOT cooler looking than the safe plastic one they developed in the 70's. The truck is lowered and has a nice stance. It has a 350 with a 350 turbo automatic transmission. I have a LOT of chrome for it including brand new front bumper (still in plastic) , new grille, and all of the '68 grille trim and grille hoops (still in the plastic). A lot of other new parts as well. The rear tailgate and taillight trim is installed but it is also new. It did not have a rear seat from the factory, but I purchased one and it will be included. I only drove it once this summer and I noticed there is a brake issue that will need to be addressed. A little cold blooded as is the case with most old carbureted engines but runs great once shes warmed up. It will need restored if you want to show it. I know I have boxes of parts so I cannot completely paint the picture on here but it's here for the taking. If you dig through the build thread you will see there are other parts. I'll regret it down the road but life happens. It isn't getting built so I hate to see it sit. I have a high schooler starting college in 18 months and two more right behind her. I live in Mooresville, but the Blazer is currently stored at my dads in Beckley, West Virginia. I am posting because I will be up there until Christmas Eve if anyone wants to see it. Clear NC title in hand. Contact me for more details.

I’m not sure on value but it looks like a good one. A SPID picture would sure help.

Re: '72 Blazer CST 2wd
Technically, it didn’t sell. My 12 year old has a minor meltdown when he found out I was selling it. It took me back to a ‘56 Belair that my dad sold when I was a kid. I was about 5 and I cried as it drove off. So, needless to say... it’s gonna stay for a while
