Boyd Center Fill Tanks
Done a bunch of research on Boyd's fuel tanks and all have positive reviews, but not seen anybody mentioning the center fill option that I see on their website. Anybody have that option? Wandering if that would allow me to use the flip-down license plate option in the bumper like the people using the Camaro tank option are doing with Boyd's center fill tanks? I don't want to use the Camaro tank as I have a K10 with leaf springs and don't want it hanging that low.

Re: Boyd Center Fill Tanks
I doubt it. Your tank will probably be higher than the fill. Boyd center fill tanks usually are plumbed straight up to the bed floor. They will make the tank any way you want it just have to draw up a blueprint.

Re: Boyd Center Fill Tanks
I was afraid of that. I'm running out of options for my K10. The PO eliminated the stock fuel tank and put a fuel bladder in a behind-the-cab tool box. The problem is that there is not enough angle on the hose as it fills from the side of tool box and takes me forever to fill the tank. Fuel spews onto the fresh paint every time.

Re: Boyd Center Fill Tanks
I'm building a 72 k10 and will be using the same tank with side fill. I bought a set of box sides that have the side door fill on the drivers side. How good is your paint? You could add the side fill door.

Re: Boyd Center Fill Tanks
Wouldn't the camaro tank fit the same on a c10 as a k10?
