Re: Youtube Channels

You can also use a shop rag /old t-shirt to slide in behind the door handles to remove the clips . The material will catch the end of the clip and pop them right off .

Had to try the rag trick and it worked really well. Pretty cool

Re: Youtube Channels

I just bought the tool and figured out how to use it without You Tube, since that did not yet exist. I always pop the clip back on the handle right away so it doesn't get lost. The old rag trick also works like a charm. CAUTION! Watch for flying clips! Very easy to lose those things

I was reminiscing about this early this week with a vendor. It was a decade before any kind of access to the internet when i was messing with my first project car (67 camaro). I had one local parts dealer and everything else was in magazines and by phone. Sure was a different game back then.

And yeah, i like the rag better too - it wont scratch the door panel.

I need to buy a gopro and start a channel. I watched stuff like FlyingSparksGarage and realized how much stuff we missed out on by not doing this years ago. Oh well.

Same here. From videos of nice drives to events, to action, to repair/rebuild instructions, to parts ID, and on. I'd like to give it a shot. Plus, I always used Photobucket to show my videos here and now that is useless. So I need a way to show videos onlne anyway.

Same here. We used to travel all over racing the corvette. There was all kinds of late night thrashing and madness everywhere. I missed that boat.

Re: Youtube Channels

Is there a way to get a video off of Photobucket (mine) so I can put it on You Tube? I don't think I can directly but getting them back into my computer is what I'm after. Not allowing me to share is one thing, but if I can't even have my own pictures that truly is a ransom situation.

Thanks, I'll check it out. Checking online is still second nature to me. Yet, I pull up stuff with a few clicks that people ask me "How did you find that?" all the time. Not sure why it never occured to check the very source for "lessons" online. And, this thing I need to do is totally You Tube related! Thanks again

Re: Youtube Channels

I finally posted a couple videos I had on my new channel under my name. Just one of the '72 and a few real shorts (Need to learn how to combine/edit) of Detroit power at a show. Not the best, but shows the truck a bit better than just a picture... not that it's all that special. I need to figure out how to post videos from Photobucket
