Electrical issues...
Hey guys and gals
I recently blew a fuse in the truck, and when I went to reinstall the fuse, my horn came on, and stayed on as soon as it went back in, not only did it scare the heck outta me, but it also takes my light buzzer out, and I'm constantly leaving my lights on :P I would very much like to get this fixed as it is also the same circuit my stereo is on, lol Also, do the reverse lights have their own fuse, or is there something else terribly wrong with my truck's electrical system?

i dont know why your radio the same circut, in the wireing harness theres a red wire for constant hot and u run your ignition on wire to the radio fuse and works just fine. i dont know what the thing is with your horn. can u beat on the horn on the steering wheel and i finally go off? on your backup lights have u checked the bulbs lately? might check all your fuses.( i bought the 50pk or assorted fuses w/ the fuse tester/puller included, makes it easer instead of pulling everything. you could always get the smart fuses ya know light up when they blow thats the real lazy mans fuse lol)

Do you have an aftermarket steering wheel? If you do and it wasn't installed correctly, the wire could be making contact and closing the circuit causing the horn to go off. This happened to me but at 2 AM in the morning causing the neighbors to call the police cuz it scared the crap outta them. It didn't even wake me up until the police came knocking on my door. That was embarrassing

ive had the same problem with the horn goin off but it was the horn button if youre thinking its the stereo , unplug this thing and see if its gotten rid of the problem
as for reverse lights, they are on a seperate circut. lets hope this is easier to track then your bad ignition wires lol
