Big Hopes With a New/Old School Build

68 Short Steppy that I want to do something a bit different than the total normal build with..... LS3 480 Crate Motor (Did 480 just for attitude sound lol) Cook Racing Built 343 year box with a Gear Vendors Splitter, 12 Bolt Posi, Ride Tech Suspension, wide 17” Steelies painted gloss black, 52 Chevy Dog Dish Hupcaps.....Truck in BMW Tanzanite Metallic Blue..... should be a fun column shifting cruiser that can handle well & I can drive as much as work permits ... Input? Suggestions?

Welcome! Tell me more about this non-3-speed column shift transmission you talk of. Got any pics of the BMW blue?

It’s the standard on the column shifter.... just a very beefed up tranny with a foot dimmer style switch activating the gear splitter....

Very nice! Thanks. I did not know there was an option to keep the column shift and have more than 3 gears, without finding an elusive factory overdrive unit.
