sorry Gary, nice try though. everybody has been guessing the Thrush bird. i've even been accused of being a Mopar guy, because they say its the Road Runner. it is Mr Horsepower, a cartoon character used by Clay Smith Cams since the early days of hot rodding. i see stickers with it on almost every street rod around town. i've actually got it tattooed on my left arm. i wanted something that reflected something about my personality, and something that wasnt following some kind of fad. i'm going to add a pair of crossed wrenches behind it, along with my late grandfather's initials, seeing as he is the one who turned me into a car guy.

Mr. Horsepower could kick Woody Woodpeckers AND the Thrush characters ass at the same time, while smoking a cigar and tying one wing behind his back!
I am a fan of the old school characters/image as well...So-Cal, Moon, Ed Roth, Von Dutch, etc... -Jeff |

I will pull it back on topic for you guys with a nifty picture!
This is the setup I got while it was still on its previous truck...it was on there for about a month then taken off so the truck could be sold. you see he sold the truck to pick up a nice 93 sub, but it ended up like this...after a drunk driver hit it. So after the bill to fix it rang up at a little over 10,000 dollars...insurance totalled it and he picked up a clean but stock 97 sub. now his 97 looks like this...so with him getting 3 new front ends...he decided to give me one

Man, you can't beat the give thing, I don't care what you do. Only trouble I ever had with people giving me things is the payback. Seemed I always end up on the short end of the stick.
