Has anybody bought parts from CLASSIC PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS?
I just pick up a really nice 69 two wheel swb. Only thing is It is completely torn apart. And since it's apart I want to upgrade to disc brakes, lower it, rebuild the front end, and put shocks on it. I saw this company had want they call the grand slam kit and it comes with everything. The price is 1400.00 which isn't bad considering all that comes with it. I was just wondering about the quality of their parts. Has anyone bought from them, what do you think? thanks

CPP Stuff
I have used thier rear disc brake conversion kit, it was excellent, it was one of the easiest to install and best thought out brake products I have ever used.

Quality Parts
I ordered my disk brake conversion from them, for my '67. They have an ad running in custom classic truck with the drop spindles listed at $229 and the component 5-lug kit for $239 (I paid a little more for 6-lug). I just got the parts a few days ago. The spindles are western chassis, they appear to be made very well. The 6-lug rotors are TRW that I had them cross-drill and gas slot for $89 more. I bought all MOOG front end part so I didn't need there kit that has the ball joints.
All there parts have a lifetime waranty |

front end
I bought the front end rebuild kit and new lower control arms from CPP. Perfect fit, easy to do business with. Nice folks.

I purchased their front disk swap set up (with lowered Western spindles), and the 5 lug axle conversion for my 68 swb, their products fit great, no problems at all.

I have yet to buy from them but I've sent e mails and talked to them on the phone. Was planning on using their C notch and coil overs at one time. Always answerwed my e mails and were very helpful on the phone. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

I bought my lowering kit from them. Nice stuff. Some of the pieces were backordered, but I still received them before I was ready to install everything.

Products are good, customer service, not so good. It took two weeks for my conversion kit to get to me.

Total $656 There website has the 6-lug kit listed for $649, so I think I got a great deal. I know there are places to get the 6-lug kit a little cheaper, but i'm very satisfied with the quaility of there parts and the service. |
