WTB greasable np205 shift pivot bolt

Looking for an unused example for my build. I know they stopped offering them around 2012 but I figure someone will have an extra to sell.

Re: WTB greasable np205 shift pivot bolt

Wasn't there 2 different sizes of Bolts for this? I have one of these greaseable bolts and its too big... I found some random posts saying early np205 had a smaller non greasable bolt... so im currently in between drilling and retapping for the bolt i have or trying to figure out a smaller one...

Those look like two different thread sizes to me. I’m going to check my original.

If your trans/transfer setup is OE from a 72 the adapter shift lever bolt hole boss will be tapped for the 9/16"-12 NC bolt that I have offered you above, I believe 71 was a change over year as we have found both 7/16"-14 NC & 9/16"-12 NC bolt thread sizes on the NP205 T/C adapters on 4wd's that we have parted out over the years. Back in the day GM had printed and included an instruction sheet with some of the early GM boxed replacement bolts noting the requirement of drilling/tapping of the earlier t/c adapters to the larger 9/16 bolt size. I have always been of the belief that there must have been problems with the smaller 7/16" bolt when these trucks were new yet and GM corrected the issue with the beefier 9/16" bolt. Blazerowner, I have set one GM NOS setup aside on hold for you until your confirmation, but since posting this offer in your WTB thread yesterday five setups have been sold and are of limited availability. Thanks, Mel

Hi Dave, the sixth NOS T/C bolt setup was just purchased over the phone, we are going to have to wait to hear from Kirk on the one 3 pc. setup that I have set aside for him per this WTB thread, if he should pass on it then you can take it. Thanks, Mel
