Re: Ready for the summer season

Lookin good. Next time I am in Oregon I need to stop by and take a peek. Also.. I need some of that interior paint. I am sure you had it mixed up but what color and or code would it be? I also need a seat cover like that and I am sure that is custom made unless someone actually produced it.

Interior color is Nissan sunlit sand, with flat clear, no second chance, spray and lay. I got the seat fabric from SMS in Portland and had it made from an original. I traded an AC service for it to be made so it’s not 100% but still pretty good, price was right.

I'm not sure how many other years, but that was the 'deluxe' seat in my dad's '65, trim RPO Z62AA custom comfort group

and I had to lol, you made that fabric purchase sound easy.. took me over a year, my SMS Doug rant here

anyways, here's the final completed seat close to two years later.. right at $800 for all new foam, fabric materials, and frame repairs/cleaning/paint..

dad's truck is a rusty farm heap but it's all original, runs like a top, and mice left me no choice but to embark on this mission..

Your seat looks great, my SMS experience was pretty easy, although they sent me way too much of the off white and not nearly enough fawn the first time.

I also wanted to know the color or where did you find the engine color.

Re: Ready for the summer season

This is the seat that is in my truck now. This is the original back but it is pretty brittle. I have to be careful not to rip it anymore.
