Ridler 650

I changed wheels to the Ridler 650 and was worried about the 4.75 inch backspace on the front. I can tell you they look good but I am buzzing the front tires more than i did with the Coys and 5.25 inch backspace. I added the knock off spinners because i did not like the provided center cap and the color did not match. I am looking for a plain smooth chrome center that will push in like the provided cap. I seem to only buzz the driver side as it sits a tad lower than the passenger side for some reason. does anyone know of a way to message the inner fenders? i thought slosh tubz had a mini inner fender but i think they are for the 73-87 only.

If you could just find something to shim up the spring on the low side... just enough...

I realize this is an older post, but what size tire are you running and did the front wheels fit over the front brake hub, if you are running a stock rotor?

Re: Ridler 650

Good looking truck! Wonder if those 20x10's rub on the inner at all? I ordered a set of them with a BS of 5.5, thought I was good until I checked the rear axle. I adjusting the panhard bar to center the rear with the bed and it looks like I'll have about a 1/4" but that's wheel only, no tire.

I have never measured the back clearance in the wheel tub but i do know i have never rubbed. My 70 has the wider rear. If you have the narrow rear you may have an issue.

Front tire is 255/40/20. The 4.5 backspace is not perfect. 5 would be perfect. No problems with the front brake hub.
