Re: Speaker Mounts
Rear speaker mounting brackets are available from LMC for about $17 + s&h.
I made my speaker boxes out of 1/4" MDF and painted them black. I used smaller round JVC speakers. I have no boom box. I am trying to save what is left of my hearing. Speakers sound fine to me with no tinny sound. Others can comment on big blast sound options. |

Re: Speaker Mounts
Those brackets you can get through board member bigblock73.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=345494 They are excellent in my opinion. This is the 2nd truck I have used them on.

Re: Speaker Mounts
I bought those same brackets from the board member. Would recommend them highly.

Re: Speaker Mounts
I got some originals ones over on the parts forum. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=763443
You can take the old speakers out and put new speakers in. That's what I did with mine, in my truck. And then painted the grilles Charcoal, to match my interior. Sorry for the sideways pics, but you get the idea.
