Trailer fenders for wheel wells

Does anyone have any photo's of their front wheel wells that started life as a trailer fender? More specifically, photo's of how they were installed?

I do not want to pay $700 for fiberglass tubs when the trailer fenders are $50. I can only find 9 in. in my local farm center, so if you went this route, did you stay with a 9 inch, or did you widen for something like 12 in.?

Is this for a slammed air bagged truck? If so why don't you look into using some drag car rear wheel tubs? They are like $180 a pair and 18" wide. They will be much easier to cut and bend than trailer fenders.

HO455, no one had ever mentioned Drag tubs. I looked at a few on google shopping, and that is exactly what I am looking for. Definitely material to mess with. Do you have any recommendations on how to mount them?

I have a static drop. 4/6 coil drop with 2 1/2 in drop spindles in the front and 2 in. drop blocks in the back.

While it’s not a C10, these are the dual wheel fender, 9” from Tractor Supply Company. We cut them in half and welded it to the fender inner sheet metal. This is a 2001 Silverado. By cutting it in half, we had one for each side. I have 265/35/22 tires tucked under them.

That would depend on what you have to work with on the truck side. If you have smooth surfaces with matching contours then panel adhesive would work well. If not then making flanges or tabs and spot welding it in position followed with seam sealer to make it water tight. If you don't have access to welding equipment then pop rivets will work too.
