Swapping suspensions

Hi, i recently bought a crashed 06 Yukon xl and I'm wondering if i can use the suspension for my 71 C10. I'm also wondering if i can use anything else from the Yukon for my C10. I would be very grateful for any info you guys can provide.

Re: Swapping suspensions

How much time, money, creativity and fabrication ability do you have?

If all four are a lot, you can come up with many ways to use parts!

Re: Swapping suspensions

For what gain? Pretty much the same suspension up front and if the '71 has coil rear it could be better riding already.

Re: Swapping suspensions

Are you doing an LS swap? There is a guy that had a thread on putting a 67-72 cab and bed on a '01 Tahoe frame. Lots of fabrication. Another thread a few years back on putting a Suburban body on a '01 up truck frame. What are you trying to accomplish?
