A/C delete on the cheap.
My 69 c10 had factory ac and probably hasn't worked in years,
I wanted to get rid of the huge box taking up space in my engine bay. The only ac delete boxes I could find were running 169.00 plus shipping. So I took off the box and just cut the ac side off and used the damper that's between the heater core and the ac coil as the plate to cover the hole on the angle. Siliconed the damper from the back, painted the box and put it back together. Use a piece of 16ga sheet metal from work to cover the ac coil hole in the firewall. It's not a show truck by any means, but I'm very happy with how it turned out. |

Don't know why my pics always go 90 degrees out on this forum.
