For Sale or Trade for an 8N Ford Tractor

I'm looking to sell or trade my 66 C20.
$1500 obo.
I was told by the previous owner that it was some kind of service truck.
There’s a hole in the center of the roof for some kind of roof light, and there is an outline of some kind of door signage.
.
I've done many upgrades to it from the newer model trucks.
73-79 14-Bolt Full Floater, Front Crossmember and Suspension with Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. Very low milage GM Goodwrench 350.
New windshield rubber. New cab mounts. Nice 90's Service Box - I also have a complete fleetside bed.. I have all the new patch panels.
I was restoring it to be a work truck for my construction company. But I have since gotten a desk job and a C10 65. So I have no need for this heavy duty work truck.

Thanks for the interest.
I'm only offering the bed as an option with the purchase of this truck.
If someone wants to buy this truck with a fleetside bed rather than the utility box.
The only thing I'd be willing to sell separately is the utility box for $1000 delivered locally.

Re: For Sale or Trade for a 4-Door 62-67 Nova

I'm interested, maybe I could come up one evening or this weekend to look at it.

Send me a PM with your contact info. Also any additional photos would be good like interior & engine.

Thanks,
Jeremiah

I'll pm you my contact info.
I'll also post up some more pics.
Have you looked at the build thread for it in my signature?

Sent you a text, hopefully you got it. Just let me know what works best for you. I could come up one evening after work, could be there around 7 or Friday-Sunday just about any time.

I need a truck I can actually use.

Body metal needs help.
Mechanically this thing is solid.
I'll reply to your text.

Re: For Sale or Trade for a 4-Door 62-67 Nova

Nice meeting you jweb.
Sorry she's ugly.
I'm kinda glad you passed.
Now I can really dig into my 65, but keep this 66 ugly but drivable.
I'm going to try and sell just the box and put the fleetside bed I have on it.

Re: For Sale or Trade for an 8N Ford Tractor

Well, I just have too much stuff going on. I just have to let this go.
I've been struggling with it missing at high rpm's. I don't think it's drivable, but it might make it 15 miles sputtering.
$2000

Re: For Sale or Trade for a 4-Door 62-67 Nova

Make offer.
The engine is very low hours/miles.
It's got to be something as simple as a tooth off, or maybe a collapsed lifter and a valve isn't opening all the way causing sputters at higher rpm's?

Re: For Sale or Trade for a 4-Door 62-67 Nova

I received a question regarding the condition of the body.
This truck is going to need lots of body work. If you read through my build thread you see that I did mechanical upgrades, but the body needs a lot of attention if you want to make the truck pretty. And the truck already had a lot of bondo when I got it. I think it was a county or railroad work truck and got banged up a lot. I'll go back and find pictures I've taken and post them here.
Price lowered - $1500 or best offer.

Re: For Sale or Trade for a 4-Door 62-67 Nova

I could also sell it without a bed or motor for $1000.
The frame and cab have the same VIN.
I just want the truck itself gone.
