Rear Sway Bar

Has anyone used the performance online rear sway bar on a 60-62 frame? I would like a rear sway bar for my 62 but when I mock up the install it seems like the end links are hanging too low. Is there a different bar that works for the 60-62 frame?

Get the right length bolt and point the threads up. It could happen. I'm using their sway bar but my frame mount is different, width not the same. Pointing mine up.

Hotchkis,as one option.
The last two photos show it partially installed, without the linkage to the rear control arms.
Their will be tabs welded to the control arms, the the linkage attaches to.
You can see the linkage in the second photo, next to the transmission cross member, panhard bar.

Have used this design and like it. Chevrolet Covettes use this design for one.

Thanks Aotte1, I didn't see a sway bar for 1962 C10's on Hotchkiss's site. not surprised since there are not as many parts for the X frame.
I have now mocked up the performance online bar and notice the bracket that goes on the trailing arms does not line up. E mailed their tech support but they were no help.

I will try to look up a similar rear bar from another company, that can be custom made. It does require some welding on the frame. Used it on my C/SA stocker, worked great.
The company is Wolfe Race Craft, you could call them and see what they say.
Also I would call “No Limit” a vender on this forum, to see their recommendation. They custom fab parts for our trucks too. Could also search “No Limit” and rear sway bar

From your photo in last post, maybe weld a plate onto rear control arm for attachment? Have not looked at your set up to know if this will work, e.g. bar is designed correctly.

Have you tried moving that bracket out a bit? See my adjustment lines. There has to be more people out there than you that have fit these on their 62. Just trying to help.

I recently installed the same sway bar on my 62. I mounted the bracket on the trailing arm with 1 bolt on either side of the seam. Its the only way i could see to make it fit. As for the end links, mine were too long also. I replaced the bolts and eliminated the spacer. The kit comes with a 90* bracket that would have worked perfectly if the sway bar was a few inches wider. They missed out on a simple solution to accommodate any amount of drop if it was wide enough to use those L brackets. This is the only picture i have, prior to replacing the end link bolts
