1972 Cheyenne-New to me

Found this truck a few weeks ago and still up in the air with what i am going to do with it..... Based on the SPID to is a true 72 A/C Cheyenne. The truck is actually really dry, needs one cab corner fixed and the lower part of the front right fender replaced! no rust in the floors, top of the cab, under the doors etc, etc. Truck is a runner driver with a 396 BB, the TH350 and 205 i believe is original to the truck, but time to sort out some wiring and try to decide what my plans are. Problem is, i am also in the middle of putting together a 78 Crew Cab 4x4 as well.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne-New to me

Looks pretty good overall, but hard to tell with only one pic.
The 396 wouldn't be original, but the trans and transfer case might be.

More pics!!

Correct, my wording about the motor and trans was even a bit confusing to me. LOL

More pics coming soon.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne-New to me

here are some more pics. wish i knew how to show the image rather than the link. As you can see it's a bit of a thirty tone paint scheme, somewhere along the line, someone was thinking of yellow, but i'm thinking either the original copper and white or going all white.

Getting imaage to show is fairly easy. Without spaces type:

Welcome to the Medium Bronze/White K20 Cheyenne club. It's not the color I was hoping for during my search but I've grown very fond of it.

Thanks. Yep, I bought it. It's a solid truck and needed only few things done to make it a reliable daily driver. I'm loving it and get more thumbs up than when I'm in my '63 split window Corvette.
