LMC door glass is too thick
I just got a order in from LMC. It included a LH door door glass for my 87 chevy truck. Part # is 38-6100 it is the correct number but the glass is .210 thick. I know the older squares had thicker door glass. I measured my old original glass and it is .145 thick. Can I use this thicker glass if so what kind of problems can I expect? Has anyone ever had this problem with LMC?

Re: LMC door glass is too thick
Check with a local glass shop and see if they can make you a door glass in the right thickness.
Years ago I had all new side glass made for a 56 bel air. Just supplied them with the old stuff so they could cut them perfectly. |
