Congrats. My biggest complaint was that you had to log in every time you wanted to post something. However, I did buy my front end sheetmetal from that site. Gotta take the good with the bad,I guess.

Yes, I am the sole owner. Dave is still a mod there. I don't visit it that often, but I will now. If you don't mind, give me feedback, but lets put it on my forum to keep the confusion down here.

Mike76251
The board allows picture posting, it just doesn't have the capability to upload pics.

Thumbs up Web Site

First of all congrats. I checked out the site and bookmarked it. I am sure that I will be doing business as I have just started a frame off on a 77 GMC Stepside that is pretty much a basket case. I am glad to find this forum and the various link information as the post 72 market seems to be the redheaded stepchild of the truck restoration business. Finding quality parts is like. Well you get the idea. Supply and demand I guess. Best of luck.

Do what?? Well, I appreciate you leaving me out in the cold.

This is cool though. I'm guessing you bought it for the parts business, right?

Hey, I don't sell anything on my site, but I'll sell it if anyone wants it.

Thanks guys. If you need 73-87 parts, come see me.

Swervin,
Sorry about that. I mainly got it because Matt was just going to let it go away, and I originally wanted the URL and he got it before me, so we worked out a deal.

Thumbs up Good Luck Chris!

Hey Guys,

I just had to jump in here and wish Chris good luck. Everything you have read is true. Chris and I have been working on this since near the end of August/begining of September. I really enjoyed owning 73-87ChevyTrucks.com from the beginning in April of 2000. Building the business end of it was really cool also. It was getting to a point where I really needed to push it to the next level, shut it down, or sell it. Through divine intervention I emailed Chris just to say, "How's it going", mentioned the site, and before I knew it we were in serious discussions. It has all worked out really well. Chris is a great guy (as you guys know), and I'm sure the next phase of the 73-87ChevyTrucks.com legacy will be better than the first.

Swervin, not trying to leave you out in the cold. I wasn't saying anything, but Chris could tell anyone that he wanted. And no, my truck (Project 73 from the site) is not any closer to ever being finished than Chris's! (I just had to throw that in!) I guess now that I am registered here I'll have to start posting on here as well as 73-87ChevyTrucks.com. Good luck Chris.

Matt
Former Owner 73-87ChevyTrucks.com

You just HAD to say that didn't you

So much for my nutshell, readers digest version. I think you covered the whole thing. Thanks a lot for the good words Matt. You are a great guy and friend and I hope just because you don't have the website you aren't going to leave. I am pretty sure we are going to be continually communicating. And I want updates on the truck!
