Hi New Member
Hi all. Been visiting this site for awhile now. Finally able to post something since I found a truck.
71 c10 long bed(yes I wanted a long bed). I will post up pics when I get some new ones, as the only ones I have include the PO's house so I don't want to put his stuff on the web. Has the usual problem with rust, but we will see. Need to do work on the door panels, dash and seat, so I will be asking a lot of question. First question is it need new outside door handles. Will these work? https://www.classicparts.com/1967-72...ctinfo/18-113/ THX Tim |

Re: Hi New Member
Welcome!
If the door handle push button has fallen in, there is a fix for it. Might save you a couple of bux. Worth a search.

Re: Hi New Member
Welcome aboard! We look forward to pictures and questions. Those do look like the correct door handles.

Re: Hi New Member
Is there any way to tell what the original transmission the truck came with from the spid?

Re: Hi New Member
Welcome to the boards and you have chosen to be part of the best website on the Internet.. Seeing there is nothing called out on the spid it would have come with a 3 speed manual column shift affectionately known as 3OTT for 3 On The Tree..
