Hydroboost from 2001 2500 to a 67 C10

Hey all, I've got a completely free hydroboost setup from a 2001 2500HD. It's got the booster, MC, all lines, cooler, etc. I've researched other threads and the mount to the firewall looks identical to the earlier units I've seen so I have little doubt that I can make that end work. My questions are around the MC itself - any bore, stroke issues? And, the MC reservoir is huge and ugly! Would an earlier MS with a smaller reservoir fit this later booster. I've looked on RockAuto comparing part numbers and, by that, everything's different.

Can anyone help answer this question?

Thanks All!

I bolted a stock 72 master to my 08 hydraboost setup with no problem. I used the original proportioning valve and everything. The last page of the link in my signature has more details.

I have a booster from a 2003 with a stock 1972 master. I use an aftermarket prop valve.

Great. I was thinking that was probably the case but just wanted to make sure.

Thanks Guys!!! Truly, much appreciate both of your responses.
