Recommendations on Dirty Dingo Low mount AC
Has anyone used the Dirty Dingo Low mount AC bracket on a swap?
Got an 87 Suburban, dont believe the stock ac compressor is going to fit with the stock mount, looking for options to keep the compressor low. Thanks for the help and suggestions. |

Re: Recommendations on Dirty Dingo Low mount AC
I have DD upper and not happy with it. It shakes bad at idle rpm when ac clutch engaged causing the puppy to vibrate bad. I put a turnbuckle on it which helped some. Don’t know about their lower.

Houston: What motor mounts did you use and why did you choose to move the AC compressor? I have the cheap adjustable conversion mounts set to put the engine in the stock location, Fairly certain the compressor is going to hit the mount and or stand.

Re: Recommendations on Dirty Dingo Low mount AC
I tried and sent back the DD low mount, the one I had would not square the compressor to the rest of the belt drive.
After that I went with the Holley low mount, it is much nicer. Built better and more importantly mounts everything square. |

Re: Recommendations on Dirty Dingo Low mount AC
I used the ICT billet adapter mounts. That style of mount prevents you from being able to use the stock ac mount.
87chevy, got any pics? |

Re: Recommendations on Dirty Dingo Low mount AC
Yea, I was just hoping to see how the motor mounts and the ac mount looked next to one another.
Probably too late now though as I have everything back in and wont be changing the mounts. |
