RND vs. Entropy
So, it's been asked a thousand times, but I am going to ask it one more time. Please don't shoot! I am at the point where I need to purchase a radiator for my LS project. I've researched and researched these two for weeks on end. Both seem to have pros and cons. I emailed both last week. Both responded within an hour.
So, the RND is $730 shipped to my door. Entropy is $960 plus shipping. $230 is not a huge deal, but $230 is $230. Entropy said 2 week lead time. RND is 2-3 weeks. RND has a 1 year warranty, Entropy has a lifetime warranty. Now, the warranty deal is not that big of a deal to me. These are aftermarket parts, so warranties are a luxury that most aftermarket doesn't come with. Regardless of warranty lenght, I would still have to remove it and ship it back. I bought an entropy. They are to radiators what boyds is to fuel tanks. Pure art. Fits great and looks even better. Get their fan controller too.
I read too much sketchy stuff on here about r&d. Haven't seen a negative thing about entropy anywhere.

I also went with Entropy and it’s keeping my zz502 cool. At least one pic in my build thread. Only complaint I have is my single speed fans - they’re loud!! Maybe that’s the case across all brands though. I’d suggest talking to Travis at AZ Pro Performance.

I agree with the loud comment. Its only noticeable at idle though (at least with my setup). I bought direct- they do have a forum discount if you ask. Good guys to deal with. I've bought stuff off of Travis too (like my boyds tank and my wheels). Can't go wrong either way. I've got pics of my setup on my IG page.

Wow , a grand for a radiator !? They better be unbelievable. Good parts are expensive but i guess you get what you pay for. I certainly hope so !!!!!

Wow, thanks guys! It is really great to hear first hand experiences. My current setup had 2 12" fans that were pretty loud. Didn't really bother me as you could only hear them at idle. They ran all of the time as well. New setup will be controlled by the ecm.

I’m running a Dakota Digital controller that has all sorts of options. It just can’t do anything with the single stage fans to make them variable. Haven’t messed with the settings since my shop set it all up. Controller seems great though.

I'm running the Entropy setup and there controller, after having two Griffins go bad in 3000 miles. Great guys to deal with and a trouble free part

There's no shortage of chinese radiators on ebay for you if that's whats you'd rather run.

I would definitely do some reading on the review board. I have no experience with either, so I can't offer my personal opinion. But there are some rather good reviews on the radiators and customer service on the review board.

I’ve used Champion radiators on both my trucks. They fit great, and have been working flawlessly for several years now. Their cost is around $225, all tig welded aluminum. They are probably made overseas (like everything else has for decades now), but at half the cost and the same function, I’ll save my money for other expensive parts like tow hooks

BP auto sells the entropy $860 you can also get the temp sensor installed in the rad if you purchase the fan controller with it.
