Fender Conversion Question...

OK-I bought a fender off a 69 or 70 GMC ($35CDN & is almost rust free!) for my 67 GMC. Am I right in thinking that all I have to do to make this swap is weld up the marker light hole? I know that there are some interchange issues regarding Chevy vs. GMC vs. the various years. thanks to all for the input...

Yeah...as long as it's a GMC fender, all you need to do is weld up the marker light hole. You may also have to weld up small holes on the front leading edge of the fender where the headlight brow trim was attached. Congratulations on your find.

yep, weld up the side markers as well as the holes that will be left where the eye brow pieces go on. This must be for the green one because your orange 67 has some great fenders on it, if i remember correctly

If it turns out to be a chevy fender...you'r up the creek, but it could be fixed with a quart of bondo.
