Looking for a Saganaw or Muncie 3 Speed With Overdrive to put behind my 292 3 OTT C20. Thanks!

I have one of the 3 spd o.d. trans.Bought at a swap meet years ago in Jefferson Wisc.I will have to dig it out of storage. I remember it has a solenoid on the side.I will try to do this weekend with some pics if you are still interested

There was a couple of guys on the forum that had them. I was impressed with their experience.I intended to use one but my truck had a 350 turbo in it originally so I went with a 200r auto. just easier for me. My brother in law was looking for a 4 spd for his truck we were at the swap meet and we found this trans. He bought it intending to use in his truck but went with another 4 spd. It is a Saginaw 3 spd over drive it comes with a couple of manuals with it. He wants 300.00 plus shipping so let me know if you want some pics.The input shaft looks fine and you can change the gears on the cover and everything feels fine.The electric solenoid is there.The trans came out of a 67 belair. Is it possible to measure the trans from front housing to end of tailshaft housing, the distance from the front housing to the center of the mount? Also are the shafts for the shift arms splined? Thanks, Jeff

Should be identical to your 3 speed in size. 21 1/2 front of trans to rear. 14 1/2 front of trans to middle of trans mount. 4 bolt side cover front output shaft for the shifter lever is keyed. the 2nd output shaft is splined.You can see it in the one picture.

Yes, crated please. If you could take the Governor and Solenoid off so it doesn't get damaged would be great.
If you feel it needs a pallet, thats OK, too.

Fastenal came in with a quote of $125.00 Figure about $20.00 for the crate. I will have to drain the fluid and remove any protruding parts .UPS wanted $110.00. I don't care which ever one you want. Let me know.

I guess I'll go with UPS. I just would like the governor and solenoid protected as I have read where they get damaged in transit. PM me the total and payment info. I take it you do PayPal?

Probably will be the week end before I can get the crate built. I will remove both pieces and pack in crate separate. They want the trans drained for shipment. Paypal will be fine. I will get you a UPS tracking # hoping to ship it Sat. I will pm with the details Thanks Bob
