Ride height
Hey guys, I have a 67 c10 has a 3 inch drop from cutting the frint springs. Over the weekend I rebuilt the front end and installed a cpp sway bay. I torqued everything I put the wheels back on and lowes it back on the ground. It sits like 2 inches higher now. Anyone have any ideas? Was it because I had the springs and shocks out for a week?
Does it need to settle or did I do something wrong. The front end was all moog parts nothing fancy. Still using old cut springs. Thanks in advance |

Re: Ride height
Did you get the springs seated back in the cups?

Re: Ride height
If I remember it’s the lower portion that the spring has to be positioned correctly. I’m trying to remember but there is nothing special about the top cup.
It wouldn’t hurt to verify that the spring is in right spot. A 2” difference is odd. Obviously something ain’t right. |

Re: Ride height
I'm thinking I have to control arms torqued to tight, I torqued them with no weight on the truck. I haven't had a chance to get back on it. I'm off tomorrow so I'm hoping to look at it tomorrow and ill let your know. Thank you for checking on me

Re: Ride height
Well u just give me the inpseration to get off the couch and grab a jacket and go tinker. I jacked it up, loosened all the nuts a little, for giggles I shined a light up the top of the springs. The bottom of the springs are seated correctly both of the springs up top are not sitting in the pockets Sooo I'm sure that's my problem. Ill fix it up tomorrow and post an update. Thank u again, I can be such an idiot
