I have two door latches on a 72 C10 Cheyenne that both have a bad set of threads. I would like to run a tap through them and was wondering what size the screw is that holds them on.

If you have one of the bolts that attach the latch, take the bolt to any hardware store and someone there can tell you what size tap you need and sell it to you, if you don't have one yet. :-)

Thanks that was my next step on my way home after work. I have searched around on a few threads to see if there is anything out there that has sizes. If there was a manual or or something available I would buy it. Thanks!

Was able to match it up at the big orange store......5/16" 18 threads per inch NC
