Overdrive Cable/Kickdown Switch Placement
Looking for the proper placement under the dash for the overdrive cable bracket and where the cable goes thru the firewall.
Also where does the kickdown switch mount on a 292? As usual, pictures and links are great. Thanks.

Re: Overdrive Cable/Kickdown Switch Placement
I can't answer the overdrive cable placement as I've never actually seen a factory install 67-69. If your truck is a 71-72 A good option for the kickdown switch would be to locate the pedal switch from a 71-72 Turbo 400 automatic truck. It's mounted inside the truck at the throttle bracket. Should work perfect for what you're trying to do.
