A young guy with an old truck
Howdy folks,
About 4 years back I put all my money into buying my first vehicle, a 1970 C10 Chevy pickup. The V8 engine had been rebuilt just a couple years before I bought her so she runs like a champ, but past the engine she obviously needed some TLC. Since then I've only been able to do the necessary maintenance to keep her running, but now that I have some income I'm ready to start restoring her to pristine condition. I just pulled out the seat and intend to take it to some Amish folk for reupholstering and took out the old carpet that smelled of mice from our farm, but I have to be honest and say I do not know what I'm doing. I'm excited to be on this site and see what others have done and learned so that I can show my truck the love she deserves! Happy to be here and happy holidays! |
