Hey Jon, Looking good!! Hope you don't mind, but here is a picture of what the truck looked like when he started. Almost every piece has been replaced with new metal. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Don't forget. They were all goodmark parts and they fit perfect. The door and hood gaps are 100% better than GM did.

Sorry but I don't have that picture any more. That was one you sent me on my old computer, and well that one is history. You can copy the one that is on my website, it is a jpeg image. I will look in my web publishing program to see what I have in there. Also do you want me to post the picture with your wife in it? Let me know. WES

How was it installing the trim? It looks great, any trouble spots or info you can pass on?
Actually that goes for the sheetmetal replacement on the whole truck. I was glad to hear a positive repro sheetmetal story.

Since I had all new panels I didnt want to drill alot of holes for the clips. I used the sticky clips. the chrome sticks out a little from the body. I 'm just anal.

As for the sheet metal, Just take your time.

I have a new set of mirrors but I think I like it with them off.nIf I start getting tickets I will put them on.

It took three years but one year I was off for back surgery.

It is lowered 2.5 in the front and 4 in the rear.

All thats left is to install the bumpers, grill and tailgate.
