"New" member from Alaska
Well I've been a registered member of the site for 5 years but finally spoke up for the first time a few days ago. Now that my project is underway I thought I should introduce my truck and myself first, and then get a build thread going in the 4x4 section. I have thoroughly enjoyed many hours of reading about all the fantastic projects and trucks and I hope some of you all will enjoy the journey as my truck progresses.
My truck is a 1972 GMC K2500 that for most of its life was basically stock. I've been the very proud owner of it since my grandfather-in-law gifted it to me 18 years ago. I've been in Alaska for nearly 5 years, and after ten years traipsing around various western states, I have finally found my place of calling. I was raised in Nevada where most of my family still resides and where my GMC resided for the first 30 odd years of its life. |
