WTB: booster bracket
OK, so I found a booster. Now I just need the mounting bracket for my 70 C10.
According to my 70 parts manual, the left side is PN 3907997 and the right side is PN 3907998. Thanks! |

Re: WTB: booster bracket
Since your going by part numbers...are the parts you need from a 72 c20? I think the linkage and mounts might be the same, I have a booster from a 72 c20, it’s missing the center push rod that pushes the master cylinder, so basically it’s a set of brackets with linkage to the pedal

Re: WTB: booster bracket
Looks like they might be the same on a C20. There's no entry after the description for the C20 so I assume that means it's the same as the C10.

Re: WTB: booster bracket
I found a thread and it shows that each booster has its own set of brackets. They look very similar but are slightly different.

Re: WTB: booster bracket
That thread doesn’t show the delco moraine booster which is a common half ton one that looks similar, I think I it has different brackets too based on some other posts but nothing definite on that

Re: WTB: booster bracket
I would buy a complete booster set up to ensure you get the right brackets or be very careful that you know which booster the brackets came from.

Re: WTB: booster bracket
Picture of the half ton delco moraine booster, note is has many indentations in the face where as the bending has 3 flats. Bendix is 11.45” diameter and delco moraine is 10.63

Re: WTB: booster bracket
The brackets will work on either type booster. Delco or Bendix. If others cannot help you I'm sure I have a set.

If those 2 are delco and bendix then you can see each has a different set of brackets. |

Re: WTB: booster bracket
Thanks guys. Sorry, I've been offline the past few days. I am assuming none of these brackets have parts numbers on them?
I'm going with front disc/rear drum set up. Whatever brackets look good and work, I suppose I'll take seeing as no one seems to know specifically what's what (so I guess it doesn't entirely matter.) |

Re: WTB: booster bracket
This is what I have, needs a good cleaning but the inside of the master is rust free so I would imagine the proportioning valve would just need a rebuild/reseal. Would let it go cheap.
