hey does n e one know how to do a brake stand with a manual

Put your feet on gas and clutch pedal. Throttle engine to desired speed and hold. Remove foot from clutch pedal and place firmly on brake pedal. Hold steady for desired effect.

Just had to post that pic again... I found another old spare in the garage and my brother has a digital video camera. Hmmm. Wanted to actually use it as a SPARE TIRE, but.......

i dont push that hard on the brake otherwise it just stops right away i make it a nice long burnout by just loosely applying the break and once it goes good then harder so u stay stationary,

Rev it up to about 5000 rpm and just sidestep the clutch....easy as that...hehehehehehe

i tried today in my automatic. i must be doign it wrong. do yall put some water or oil down to do a nice long one? i tried to do it in forward and reverse and nothing happened.

In an automatic, you may have to lightly pump the brakes to get the tire(s) to break loose. No water should be needed onles your engine is underpowered. Even with 275/60 on the back of mine with a 3.07 it'll melt the parking lot in front of the shop...just ask my boss...he'll tell you.

i have highway gears (from what po said, i havent driven it that much) and 255/60s next time i can take it out (no inspection/insurance) ill have to try that.
