Here's the lower hose setup. It looks slightly kinked at the pump & it is. it also touches the frame rail so I put a rubber cushion on the rail. I'm still looking for a hose that fits better. I also looked for a long pump with the same hose location as a short pump but couldn't find one. If you want more / different pics just let me know.

What I ended up doing , got the original hose for this truck and then used a second shorter 45 degree hose to get a decent fit . Had to use a connector between the 2 hoses but the fit is decent.
I got my original hose from rock auto and it was a GM hose to boot.
