Bellhousing question
I posted this in the Engine drivetrain forum with no response, so I will ask it here.
If a tranny has a different bellhousing than what I need, then I can just unblot it and bolt the correct one on right? Second question, are auto and standard bellhousings interchangeable?

As long as the bolts are the same for the tranny.
Automatics are usually one piece, except for Powerglides and maybe a few others, but I'm not sure if there are any others that are two piece.

OR
You can get an adapter (or make one like I did). Try Advance Adapters.
