Sport mirror mounting?

Bought a set of sport mirrors but they came with some really smalls screws. The screws that are in there now are now are considerably larger with nuts on the back of them and are real pain to get to. Do they make a insert that can go in the holes or will I need to find some more screws will allow nuts to hold them in place? The holes for the current mirrors will be filled when the body work is done but I would like to go ahead and change them out because the current mirrors are junk.

Re: Sport mirror mounting?

There’s a plate that goes behind the door. It’s angled correct for the mirror.
