Replacing choke cable

I am having trouble getting the choke cable out of my dash. I got the nob and the bezel off. How do i get the cable out of the instrument cluster? There doesn't seem to be any kind of nut on the back side. Thanks

Re: Replacing choke cable

I just replaced mine with a nos one. There should be a nut under the bezel you have to take off with a 5/8” socket. Then you should be able to pull it out under the dash. Might have to wiggle it a bit.

Re: Replacing choke cable

Ok. I feel stupid. I never pulled the choke label off. It was behind that. Thanks for setting me straight. Wish i could find an NOS one. Likely going to end up just getting one from lmc or something. Thanks again!
