Working on my 69 k20-30 mod

Taking a beat old farm truck that has super clean frame, swapped in 1990 cew cab srw dana 60/14 bolt 3:73 with locking rear. Rebuilding the original 350 engine, leaving 465/t221 combo. Just need a omput shaft for t221 bought a mint coupler but no luck on shaft yet...... any ideas? Rebuilt and shortened driveshafts. Not lifting it. Want to use it as a truck. Leaving manual steering as well 😉 when full roller is done old beat body going on it. Should be sweet ! T221 n4 input shaft where are you !

Re: Working on my 69 k20-30 mod

Cool project. I would seriously consider swapping to a NP205. With all the rest of the driveline beef you have, the Rockwell will be not just the weak link but by far the most expensive and troublesome to fix in the future.

I'd consider a 2 1/2" lift FWIW, the K30 was not quire that much taller than a K20 of the same vintage stock.

I cut all shock mounts and moved them up and so on for clearance. Gotta stay with the 221 I mean the sticker is on the glovebox lol. Had a few in past just overfill by 1/2 quart through the small upper plug with lucas oil stabilizer. New broke on myself this one came pre f-ed up lol
