Hidden Fuel Filler Housing
I am swapping out the behind-the-seat fuel tank in my '72 GMC pickup for an underbody type and would like to locate the filler tube and cap behind the left tail light. I saw a picture of a custom fabricated housing on this site that would work to attach the tube and cap ass'y. Does anyone know who the fabricator is and if it can be purchased from them? Attached is a pic of the housing. Thanks.

Re: Hidden Fuel Filler Housing
Try New Creations - they sell a fuel filler relocation kit for $185. The phone number is 704-6920559. Check out their facebook account at newcreations.com. Some cutting and welding required but you're way ahead of the game.

Thanks Shoveldug. I was thinking that would be an another option when I saw the pic of one that was posted. Looks like some pretty basic sheet metal work.

Re: Hidden Fuel Filler Housing
Thanks guys. I have to admit I'm totally forum site illiterate so don't know how to download pics on this forum. I tried to just drag and drop a pic from my desktop on my initial inquiry but that doesn't seem to work. The fuel filler housing I have the picture of looks like a completed product that would not require any cutting, just welding into place. Any help on the pic download thing would be appreciated. Thanks.
