1970 Chevy C30 Brake lines
Hey, I have a 1970 Chevy C30 and I’m going to replace all the hard brake lines and rubber ones. I was wondering if the pre bent kits for the C10s and C20s will work for it? Or do I need to buy the correct tubing and bend it and flare it myself. Thanks.

Re: 1970 Chevy C30 Brake lines
I'm no expert on the kits but I would think a C20 would work except the line going to the rear would have to be modified and lengthened. I'm sure there are a few other differences but nothing that couldn't be easily modified.
I have always built my own brake line systems, it's not that difficult. |

Why not buy the C30 lines from inlinetube or whatever aftermarket seller?

That is what I would recommend. The Nicopp lines are really easy to bend and flare. You can flare the Nicopp line holding the flaring tool in your hands, and you can wrap the 3/16 line around a 1" wood dowel multiple times by hand without kinking it.. Shop around as the prices vary. I bought some on E-bay pretty reasonable, just type Nicopp into the E-bay search box. Some of the local auto parts stores carry it but it is a little more expensive..... LockDoc
