CFR performance valve cover adapter plug wires
For those of you (if any) using the CFR Performance valve cover adapters on your LS, what did you use for plug wires? The factory 6.0 plug wires are not long enough so I tried a build your own plug wire kit but the coil side was too small of a boot to fit on the coil (even tho it said they fit truck LS coil packs). If I had to do it again I would not buy these adapters as nothing fit all that great, but i'm determined to run em at this point with the factory coil packs I have (2006 6.0 lq4). I'm open to any opinions short of chucking these things...maybe.

Re: CFR performance valve cover adapter plug wires
When I relocated my coils I used a set of cut to fit plug wires for an older LT1, they had the correct ends.

Re: CFR performance valve cover adapter plug wires
I put a bunch of money into trying to make these work on mine. I gave up. In my opinion they're poorly engineered and made. A classic case of "you get what you pay for."

Re: CFR performance valve cover adapter plug wires
I dont get it, the stock LS covers are simple, and clean.. any cleaner would be to put a cover on em to bid them
.. these seem to bolt to the covers and make things less everything?

Re: CFR performance valve cover adapter plug wires
You are seeing the unfinished project. These sre adapters that let you use tin sbc valve covers overtop to hide the coils/wiring and give an "old school" look. Like delmo does. These ones just don't do it well. At least not in my experience.
