new AAW wire harness does not fit new CPP steering column
the harness coming out of my new CPP steering column ONLY APPEARS to be able to fit with my brand new AAW classic update harness. the general shape is the same, the wire colors match up, but the two black plastic connectors will NOT fit together. WHY? must I trim the edge of one of the black plastic ends away to make a connection?

Why don't use re-use the original connectors that came with the truck? De-pin them and put the new wires in.

I've never done anything like that and I was hoping it would be plug and play. Especially considering it's made for this truck

Coming down to the beach for the RTTS car show I lost my left brake light but turn signal worked. Sure enough the wire was like the horn came loose but not out. I've reinstalled it 2 times so far. I'm really thinking about de pinning it and add spade connectors.
