Noisy DBW Throttle Body

I'm trying to wrap up my swap and started it for the first time last weekend. I noticed that when I turn my key into the run position, my DBW throttle body powers up or engages loudly. The engine, tac and peddle came from the same truck. I drove that truck for 6 months and never really heard it before.

Any thoughts?

It's normal for them to make some noise when you first turn them on. How loud is it?

If you have the air intake off you can here it pretty good . This is normal . It does a little quick test open and close to check to see if there is a problem with the tb binding . If it detects a slight resistance it will throw a code and will not open the tb after starting the engine .

This is GM fail safe test so you dont have a stuck open tb and a run away engine .

The factory air intake is on it. And, after crank up, you can rev the motor. I posted a link to a video with the sound just before this post.

You can here it at the very beginning of the video posted to my ig account: https://www.instagram.com/the_not_asian_caucasian/

To me it's as loud as a starter engagement. But, you can put your hand on the tb and it's definitely it.

Thats perfectly normal. Its a sound you really get used to when tuning them, as evey time you load a new calibration it cycles the computer.
