Inner fender mounting grommets?

Can anyone confirm where these go? On the four upper inner fender to firewall?
I don’t remember anything there during disassemble. There is 4 in a set.

Re: Inner fender mounting grommets?

Classic Parts catalogue says "for mounting inner fender to cab and to rad support".

There should be two brackets that bolt onto the bottom corners of the fire wall which then bolt to the inner fenders. I think those attach to those brackets and then bolt to the inner fenders.

I see they fit onto the bottom back corner of the inner fender to bolt to an L shaped bracket on the firewall. Figured they might go there but that’s two of them and they come in a set of four.

Only two are needed as you figured. And, I only see two in the catalog pic you posted.

Re: Inner fender mounting grommets?

It has been a while sense I have replaced them but I am thinking that there are 2 brackets. One that bolts to the cab and one to the fender. They both receive a grommet. But I might be wrong.

There is only 2 needed and they do go where everyone is saying they go. Hopfully they didn't send you the earlier ones. Did that to me some years ago. There were 4 in the package but they were for a 55-59.
