hi need help motor numbers
have a sbc 327 motor IN A 1962 c-10 short box the stamp numbers on the block in front of the head is
MRE 33270121 can anyone help me decode them thank you |

Is that everything? There should be some K0821TAX
K=plant 08=August 21=21st day TAX = 1970, 350, 4 barrel carb, 255hp The 33270121 might be a partial VIN? Here is a link I use to find these codes: http://www.nastyz28.com/chevy-engine-code-stampings.php
