Need pics of 80 Silverado KY5 hood stripe
Anyone have any good pics of these on an 80, seeing some pics on here just trying to figure out what color they would be. My truck is Cardinal Red (chevy orange in my opinion), and Dark Carmine red, with a dark carmine red hood.
any help appreciated. |

Your truck would have had orange transition to red stripes. Pic 2 is a 79, but not sure if 80 was the same. Some of the earlier "transition" color ZY5 stripes didn't have a space and some of the earlier ones only had 2 stripes. I "think" 79 and 80 were similar, but would need to confirm.

this is great anyone know the exact colors, or you have to guesstimate? or width?
I have read that the 80 style is brighter, and no space in between colors... my truck is an 80 silverado, born in 10/79. So would it have the stripe below? |
